Maximizing Content Marketing Efforts When You Have a Small Team

When you have a small team or limited resources, it can be difficult to consistently create and put out quality content. It, however, is not impossible. If you are trying to put out more content while using fewer resources and less money, try implementing these two steps:

1. Curate content.

Content curation allows you to share relevant content written by others with your own audience. This does not mean, however, that you should simply copy and paste someone else’s blog post with your name attached to it. Instead, make sure you are providing a link back to the original source. Curated content can be used on a variety of platforms: social media, blog posts, even emails.

2. Reformat content you have already created.

Each piece of content you put out does not need to be mutually exclusive from previously published posts. When the research has already been done on a certain topic, you can reformat a post you have already publicized and publish it once again.

For example, if you have already created an ebook on a certain topic, take that content, and create a smaller blog post with it. Do you have a blog post that was especially useful to your audience? Use the information it contains to generate an infographic with it. The possibilities are endless.
